A/N: Much thanks to
laylah, who is a fabulous beta, a great friend, and my favorite pusher. Without her, I would be lily-white and headed for heaven, but having much less fun. Also, Stephen Geoffreys (who played Evil Ed in Fright Night) really has been doing gay porn since about 1994. I haven't seen any of the movies in question, but I can't imagine they're good, considering the titles. If you're curious, check out his listing at IMDB. And lastly, my very careful perusal of a lovely screencap of naked Viggo suggests to me that he's uncut, and so I've run with that. I don't really have any way of verifying (though if I did, I'd hardly be sharing it with you all, now would I? *g*).

Date: 2004-03-09 07:15 pm (UTC)Thank you. Characterization is one of the things that I find the most strange (and most difficult) about writing RPS -- that and how the concept of canon translates from FPS to RPS.
(I enjoyed your very unusual SB)
He's always struck me as a very passionate person, but one who isn't too terribly self-aware. Three failed marriages, after all.
if a bit schmoopy (OB)
I was kinda worried about the sap level, but after much editing and debating, it felt right at that level, so....
and I enjoyed Elijah's internal thoughts.
muse!Elijah lives in my head; despite how it sounds, this is not always a desirable situation. It is also why I write LotRiPS and why it all seems to be from Elijah's POV. *g*
Most notably, I don't care for Viggo in fics, and usually skim parts where he appears, but I didn't skim this one- I even enjoyed this Viggo, and that's about the second time ever
*g* I have a difficult time with Viggo. I'm mostly indifferent to him in stories, but it's frustrating when he crops up as a character in my own fic because I just don't feel like I've quite got a handle on him, characterization-wise. I'm glad you liked the way he turned out.
Thanks for letting me know what you thought!
