A/N: Much thanks to
laylah, who is a fabulous beta, a great friend, and my favorite pusher. Without her, I would be lily-white and headed for heaven, but having much less fun. Also, Stephen Geoffreys (who played Evil Ed in Fright Night) really has been doing gay porn since about 1994. I haven't seen any of the movies in question, but I can't imagine they're good, considering the titles. If you're curious, check out his listing at IMDB. And lastly, my very careful perusal of a lovely screencap of naked Viggo suggests to me that he's uncut, and so I've run with that. I don't really have any way of verifying (though if I did, I'd hardly be sharing it with you all, now would I? *g*).

Date: 2009-04-27 07:23 pm (UTC)Your archive is such a treat. I really do admire your style of writing. It's hot, perceptive, clever, hot, funny, surprising,... when Elijah opened the door to find Bean Bean! I was shocked and ... um... more than pleased. lol! Did I mention hot? And as an Orlijah gal at heart, the ending was perfect for me.

Date: 2009-04-27 08:01 pm (UTC)I think it really shows how much fanfic is a conversation within the fannish community, because Bean's inclusion as one of Elijah's repercussion-free flings was a direct result of other stories written at the time, particularly ones that were slashing Bean with Viggo. There was a persuasive fanfic argument going on about how his marriages didn't last as long as his friendships with men, not to mention speculation on how someone raised in and invested in the whole "manly footballer" thing would deal with their own attraction to other men.
Stop, Rewind, (re)Play is probably my favorite of my LotRiPS stories, so I'm pleased you liked it, and very flattered by your lovely comments on my writing style. Thank you!
