Live from Mardi Gras

So, having followed Elijah's float for the last 4-5 blocks of the parade route (attempting to attract him with a prodigious-but-tasteful display of cleavage), I'm back in my hotel room with (hopefully) tons of pictures and a strand of gold Mardi Gras beads thrown by the boy himself!

Okay, I'm better now.


He and two other guys on the float sang "Fuck Her Gently" by Tenacious D. No, really. Standing on the top of a float, wearing a white and gold costume with a cape and wielding a microphone, the boy used the opportunity to say "fuck" as many times in public as humanly possible.

I think I love him.

Maybe I'm not better.

Going away for a moment to check the photos I got. OMG. The movies came out. Including the one from the beginning of "Fuck Her Gently." And I can't make the FTP client on my iBook work! Arrrrrggggghhhh!

I will keep trying, but in the meantime I'm going to go ahead and post this.

I'm sorry to have made you jealous. I wish everyone on my f-list could be here with me; it'd be a blast!

In the meantime, there are now movies and a few pics up. The pics are pretty terrible (as are the movies, actually, because duh, it's dark at 9pm in February in New Orleans, but they're better than nothing IMO. I'm hoping there are some professional phototgraphers at the Bacchus party tonight so that we'll get some pics in the next few days.

I understand. Been there, done that. Am very jealous of everyone who gets to go to the TORN party.
