I'm going to bed now. I know you were all eager to hear that. *g*

I'm going to take my notebook with me, in case inspiration strikes, but I'm not too hopeful. Orlando and Elijah seem to be far too interested in playing with their food to actually have any sex at the moment.

I'm also going to take [livejournal.com profile] baylorsr's Birthright with me to read, on the off chance (hah!) inspiration doesn't strike. I've been stressing too much lately, and I think it's time to reward myself with what I've been told is a fabulous story set in the universe of The Faculty.

subliminal note to authors: write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic, write more Faculty fic

That is all.

I probably find that image altogether too cute. I was just wondering, 'cause I've got this piano-and-food-porn Orlijah bunny running around in my head, and I was going to try and make it leave by saying that you were already writing it. However, since that's not the case, I'll go back to smacking at it with a tennis racket.

Go to bed, woman! Go! Sleep!

Hee. The sad thing is that I really do want to write it, but I'm not sure that I can. You know what I mean?

I'll probably start it, get about 3000 words, and then decide that it's crap and scrap it altogether, which is roughly the point that I'm at with my other fic. Am starting to think that I ought just stick to graphics.

I may take you up on that, if you don't mind. I'm not even sure that it's worth continuing at this point. I've actually posted quite a lot of it before, though I've edited some of it since then and added some. And the other problem is that this is a story in four parts, the third of which was originally written as a stand-alone, but it kind of spawned more, so the third is being edited while I write the other three parts. The first is maybe half done, and I have the ending of the second written, and the beginning of the fourth in my head, and I know where I want it all to go, I'm just not sure how to. . . get it there. (Also, looking at this, I think that I'm past 3000 words, now that I think about it. But whatever.)

So in sum: Meghan is lame. Flying ninja monkeys are kewl.

"Please, I just couldn't eat another bite. It was good, but I am full. And it was spicy -- my mouth is burning."
Orlando goes to the freezer and asks, "So, if you couldn't swallow any more, would you be willing to just suck?"
Elijah opens his mouth for the grape-flavored icy-pop.
