Ten movie people I'd like to spend a day with

If you could spend a full day -- breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all the time in between -- with someone on the front lines of the movie biz (an actor/actress, director, screenwriter, etc.) just talking to them, who would you spend time with? List your Top 10.

Here's mine, in no particular order:

1. Elijah Wood (well duh; actually make that the hobbits as a group)
2. Johnny Depp
3. Dave Foley
4. Eric Idle
5. Kevin Smith (the director)
6. Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio (they come as a set *g*)
7. Ian McKellen
8. Peter Jackson
9. Sam and Ted Raimi (again, a set)
10. Joss Whedon

There are no women there. I wonder if that's because the industry is so weighted against women, or whether I'm just too focused on the boys.

Oh yeah. He's so cute. Like a big teddy bear, y'know?

Though there'd be the uncomfortable moment when I'd have to admit to him that I fantasize about him and Jason Mewes; but I think he'd be cool with it.

I totally know. And somehow, he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who would be put off by much, man. I mean, it's just a feeling, but. . . How many movies do you know that mention bestiality and hermaphroditic porn?

Plus, he tends to play with the homoerotic subtext himself. And if you've ever read the message boards over at Askew, he's addressed the issue of slashfic between Jay & Silent Bob. I can't see that he'd feel too differently about RPS, considering how much of himself he puts into the characters in the first place. *g*

hee! I've not read the boards, mostly because I try and stay out of most fandom stuff, thus the reason that it took me so long to admit my love of RPS. I'm very scared of most fandom people, because I feel that I'm not clever enough, insightful enough, creative enough, or sometimes obsessive enough. It's all very sad, really.

But yes. In short? Dear Kevin Smith. I love you. The end.
