Too much VH1 Classic?
Apr. 27th, 2004 12:12 pmYes. I am here to tell you that there is such a thing s too much VH1 Classic. How do I know this? Because I currently have Quarterflash's "Harden My Heart" stuck in my head, and it's been there since yesterday morning. Bleh. (Scary thing? I remember all the lyrics. Obvoiusly, my youth was spent in front of MTV.)
This is me, searching through music files on the computer to find something strong enough to drive Quarterflash out of my brain....

Title: Real Beauty
Fandom: LotRiPS
Pairing: Viggo/Bernard
Rating: PG-13
Words: 170 exactly
Summary: It's the laughter Viggo notices first, the sense that nothing could bring Bernard down.
A/N: The style—haiku prose, where you have one paragraph of fifty words, a second of seventy, and a third of fifty—was shamelessly pilfered from
laylah. The story is for
vegetariansushi, who was lamenting the lack of Viggo/Bernard.

vegetariansushi is culpable, because she said, "Dude, do eet!" Which is apparently all the encouragement I need to break my own taboos with abandon. *sigh*

Okay, now I'm running away, back to the sequel to "Hooligans."
Y'all need to calm down a little so I can get this stuff finished, okay?

Apr. 8th, 2004 10:51 amOh. My. God.
The first pic should be illegal. I mean, smoking is so not attractive, but....
bunniewabbit calls it cigarette porn, and I think she's right.
I will give up my firstborn (or, you know, write a story or make an icon of your choice) for the person who gets me that first pic without watermarking. OMG.
ETA: Both
vegetariansushi and
gypsyjolie have de-watermarked the pic for me. You guys rock!

Icons and stuff
Mar. 21st, 2004 01:19 pmSo I've finally got my internet fixed; it turns out it was a combination of things, but they all seem to have been corrected now and I've had stable internet for over 24 hours!
And I just realized that I'd failed to put up my most recently created icons, so here they are.
( icons )
Also, I've captured Elijah's TiVo interview ("Play Memory with Elijah Wood") and you can download it here.
And I've added a media page to my webiste where you can d/l media clips like the Tivo interview and my recording of Elijah at Mardi Gras. It's not password protected, and so long as my bandwidth doesn't completely go to hell in a handbasket I'll leave it up.

Summary: There's really only one thing Elijah's not willing to talk about.
A/N: For
vegetariansushi, who held my (virtual) hand as I watched Graham Norton's interview with Elijah, debated with me the meaning of Elijah's facial expressions, and didn't mock me for my embarrassment squick. This story is my way of trying to figure out the emotion behind his momentary turning away from one of the Theban Band's Frodo/Sam pictures.
There are two Gimli/Legolas pieces by the Theban Band; for the purposes of this story, I've decided that Elijah's talking about "Elf Worship" when he starts to describe one of them.
I've taken a few liberties with the transcription of the interview. Mainly, I've cleaned up the dialogue a little so that it reads more like fiction dialogue and less like sloppy real-life conversation.
