Golden Globes squeeing

You should probably just ignore this. I'll be embarrassed about it later, anyway. *g*
I am so jazzed that RotK swept the Golden Globes, especially since everyone says that the GGs are a strong indicator of the way Oscar voters are going to go. It would be fabulous if RotK could win in a major (i.e., non-FX, non-music, etc.) Oscar category.
And everyone looked fabulous, especially Elijah. *tries to be subtle about drooling* The green velvet suit was stunning, and he was a great presenter; so many of them stumble over the lines, but he was cool and smooth....
Dom looked adorably scruffy, in his casual shirt with no tie and his leather jacket. Mmmm. Way to buck the black-tie expectations, Dom!
Cate was gorgeous! She must be, what, eight months or so pregnant? Glowing. In such a beautiful dress, too.
It was really cool to actually see Fran Walsh. I was impressed with Peter's acknowledgement of the other directors who'd been up for Best Director, too. It was a very gracious addition to the typical acceptance speech.
We've all heard the buzz, but the Academy Award nominations will be officially announced tomorrow. *crosses fingers*
