Summary: The white of the ceiling matches the blank emptiness in Wesley's thoughts when he first opens his eyes. There's a half second of foreboding, of feeling like everything is wrong, and then Lilah's fingertips brush his arm and sweep away the confusion as though it had never been.

A/N: This was written for katemonkey for the polyficathon. I'm not at all sure my original attempt was what she wanted, so I thought I'd give her a second one off her list.

I'm glad you liked them. Knowing who they were for kind of set the bar a little higher for me; I've always loved your fic.

Unfortunately, I can't take credit for most of the broken. Most of that is Joss's creation; I just stole his scenario and plunked Lilah, Faith and Wes down in it to see how they'd play.

Though what got me there was starting out thinking about the three of them in Hell--a la Sartre. *g* I think that No Exit may be my favorite play ever. And no, I don't want to know what that says about me.
