That's actually another piece of information I was looking for: whether people aren't sending feedback because email feedback is too much trouble. (Another suspicion I had; LJ makes it so easy to just respond to a post as soon as you finish reading something.)

Because I waffled when posting a link, finally deciding not to post the story itself in a any communities except thespecialhell, mainly because I've recently discovered that you can apparently edit other folks' posts in a community, and I really don't like that when it comes to my fiction.
